Big Freeze 8
Each year, a group of ‘A-List’ celebrities take the icy plunge sliding into the Big Freeze pool all in the name of raising critical funds to help find a treatment and cure for MND.
This year we are excited that this iconic event will be coming back to the ‘G on Queen’s Birthday Monday. We’re bringing back the march, the celebrity slide and all the excitement that is part of the annual Big Freeze clash between Collingwood and Melbourne at the MCG. We can’t wait to have you join us!

2022 SockIt2MND
Sockit2MND is a fun, community initiative that brings together local leagues, clubs, teams, players & communities in the fight against ‘The Beast’ that is Motor Neurone Disease.
Celebrated during the Big Freeze campaign each year in June, Sockit2MND is a great way to rally your sporting club, workplace and local community around this important cause. Sporting clubs including AFL, netball, basketball, soccer, rugby, hockey and more are invited to support FightMND by getting involved, purchasing pairs of the now iconic blue socks for their teams and wearing them proudly on the dedicated Sockit2MND round on June 18 & 19, 2022.
The socks, available in two varieties (long football socks and crew socks suitable for netball and basketball) will be on sale in mid-Feb until the Sockit2MND round.
For just $15 per pair, be part of the 2022 Sockit2MND Campaign on June 18 & 19.

The FightMND 27 Challenge
It’s time to sign up for the 27 Challenge and fundraise for FightMND and for further research into MND as we strive to create a world free of MND.
The number 27 represents the average life expectancy of someone diagnosed with MND – just 27 months from diagnosis. That is what we want to change and with your help we can.
The FightMND 27 Challenge is aimed at getting active, having fun and bringing family and friends together, either physically or virtually. while embracing the number 27.
The choice is yours!
You can walk, run, cycle, roll, jump, swim, spin, do push-ups, sit-ups or mix it up over 27 days. You can use the 27 Challenge Mix ‘n Match grid and choose some or all of the activities to complete – it’s up to you!
How will you embrace 27? Will it be with minutes, hours, kilometres, laps, goals or something else?
Good luck and enjoy your challenge
