Mark your calendars! The 2026 Big Freeze Community Round is back on Friday 29 May to Friday 5 June 2026 – and we want YOU to be part of the action.
Host your very own DIY Big Freeze event during the week and unite your sporting club and local community in the fight against MND. Want to put the FUN into FUNdraising? Make a splash with your very own slide, ice bucket challenge or sell Big Freeze merch to kit out your community. And don’t forget to rock your own Socks and Beanie too!
Can’t do it during Community Round? No problem! Hold your event when it works for your club. Just make sure you share the love on social media by tagging @fightmnd and use the tags #BigFreeze12 and #TeamUpForBigFreeze12.

At $15 a pair, our Socks are available in crew and football styles and come in small (4-8) and large (9-13) size. - Orders will ship from early May 2026.
- Minimum order for Socks is 20 pairs.
- Pay upfront or pay a $10 deposit and pay for your socks once they are sold.
- All unsold Socks must be returned to FightMND by 5 July 2026.

Motor neurone disease is a Beast. It’s an insidious, terminal illness that takes away a person’s ability to speak, eat, move and, eventually, breathe. There is no treatment. There is no cure.
All funds raised through FightMND’s Big Freeze Community Round will go towards innovative research to find effective treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
