In a new approach to care funding, FightMND will invest in three pillars of support to help drive evidence-based improvement and collaboration. These pillars are

  • Evidence: A program of research to improve and help inform care for people living with motor neurone disease (MND)
  • Standards: The development of national guidelines and frameworks of MND care for allied health professionals and carers
  • Support: Targeted support for people living with MND, their carers and families – including additional support for those aged over 64 and equipment for at-home needs.

Together, we can not only defeat this Beast, but tame it so that everyone who is diagnosed with MND now, and into the future, can live engaged and successful lives, surrounded by people they love.
