Event Details

South Australia, the time to stand together is now. Join us at Adelaide Oval on Saturday 4 June 2026 for a day of hope, unity and action as the Adelaide Crows take on Geelong Cats.

Together, we turn the Adelaide Oval blue. Every Beanie worn and every dollar raised helps fund vital research and support for Australians living with MND. When you wear your Beanie, you’re not just showing up. You’re standing up. You’re choosing to fight.

Before the first bounce, our incredible volunteers will be around the stadium selling Beanies and collecting donations. Grab yours early and wear it with pride.

Then, get ready for the moment everyone’s waiting for. SA icons will take the icy plunge, bringing the Big Freeze to life with a local twist. It’s bold, it’s unforgettable, and it’s all for a cause that matters.

You’ve got a head. Use it. Get your Beanie today.

Illuminations: Turning SA blue for Big Freeze

FightMND’s annual Illuminations campaign shines a light on the thousands of Australian living with MND.

It offers a moment to reflect and remember those who have passed, those who are currently battling the Beast, and all those who care for or have cared for a loved one with MND.

Volunteer for the SA Freeze

Our volunteers are the MVPs of the Big Freeze. From selling the iconic blue Beanies to helping raise awareness, our volunteers play a vital role in the fight against MND.

Every Beanie sold fuels a movement of hope, and every dollar donated paves the way toward a cure. Together, we can make a difference and stand strong against the Beast.

Register to become a Big Freeze volunteer today.

Daniher’s Drive 2026 is going to South Australia!

We are celebrating 10 years of Daniher’s Drive by hitting the road in South Australia! For the first time, we’re taking the convoy through the Peninsula, Adelaide Hills and the Barossa by day, and calling Adelaide CBD home by night. Registrations are now open.

As we continue to fight against the Beast and seek to find a treatment and cure, we would love to hear from you about how you may be able to get involved. Our team are ready to help in anyway they can.
