Ready, set… Challenge 27 is back!

Say farewell to the winter blues. Spring is on the horizon! The days are getting longer, the air is warming up, and there’s no better time to unfreeze your fitness routine and join a challenge that’s about so much more than just exercise. Challenge 27 is back and this September you’re invited to be part of something powerful, fun and deeply meaningful.
You don’t need to be a pro athlete or a fitness fanatic to get involved. All you need is your energy, your goal and your passion for making a real difference. Together with your very own Challenge Mentor and an army of changemakers across the country, you’ll take on a challenge that fuels cutting-edge research and supports vital projects caring for Australians living with motor neurone disease (MND).
Why 27?
Twenty-seven months is the average life expectancy after an MND diagnosis. It’s a number that represents urgency, heartbreak and action. From 1 to 27 September, we’re turning 27 into something powerful. Together, we’re fighting back.
Challenge 27 isn’t your average fitness challenge. This is your challenge. And it’s open to anyone. No matter your age, fitness level or lifestyle.

27 movements with Leanne Sklavenitis
Award-winning personal trainer. Coach. Powerhouse MND advocate. Leanne proves that movement is for everyone. Her team is all about variety, strength and fun.


27 kilometres with Katrina Blowers
Channel 7 Brisbane anchor. Half-marathoner. Motivation machine. Whether you’re walking, running, biking, wheeling or hiking, this is the team for bold goals and big hearts.
Not every challenge will fit perfectly. And that’s ok. Pick a mentor with a purpose that moves you and tailor the challenge to suit your goals.
