What is the Big Freeze?

For 10 years FightMND has been freezing the nation with its annual Big Freeze campaign.
The campaign reaches fever pitch on the Monday of the King’s Birthday long weekend, 10 June 2024. Big Freeze Beanies will take over Australia’s most iconic sporting arena, the MCG. And just minutes before the annual Collingwood verses Melbourne clash, a group of bold and courageous celebrities will take the plunge into Australia’s coldest ice bath – all to raise funds for vital MND research.
But we don’t stop there. For those who can’t make it to the ‘G, you can still show your support at our state freeze events. We’re proud to bring back the WA Freeze to Optus Stadium on 1 June, while the QLD Freeze will return to the Gabba on 14 June. We’re also excited to bring the SA Freeze to the Adelaide Oval for the first time on 6 June!
Stay tuned to our Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts for the latest news about Big Freeze 10!
