The Big Freeze returns to the ‘G for 2024, as a new group of iconic Aussies take on Australia’s coldest ice bath for Big Freeze 10! Join us at the ‘G for the Big Freeze slide, a special performance from an Aussie music star, and the annual Big Freeze clash between Collingwood and Melbourne.

Don’t miss out on the fun as we paint the MCG blue with the new Big Freeze 10 Beanies and raise much-needed funds for vital research to beat the Beast that is Motor Neurone Disease.

Don’t miss the iconic clash between Collingwood v Melbourne

Following all the thrills and spills of the Big Freeze 10 Slide, Collingwood and Melbourne take the field for the big clash. 

Watch these two AFL powerhouses as they go head-to-head in this milestone match. Be part of this electric atmosphere as we come together to once again turn the MCG blue and stand side by side in the fight against MND.  

This year our FightMND volunteers will be out in force across the MCG, selling Big Freeze 10 Beanies, collecting donations and spreading important awareness of the battle against the Beast.

BIG FREEZE GOES INTERSTATE

Big Freeze 10 turns Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane blue!

Join us this year as we embark on a journey to freeze the nation. We can guarantee, these are matches not to miss. 

 West Coast Eagles FC v St Kilda FC 
This year, the West Coast Eagles will once again be hosting their very our Mini Freeze filled with a star-studded line up of celebrities ready to bravely take the icy plunge. Join us on Saturday, 1st of June at Optus Stadium as we come together to fight the Beast.

After a short break, we will be back again in South Australia to celebrate this milestone year with the Adelaide Crows. Find us on the 6th of June as we bring our iconic Big Freeze Beanies back to the grounds of Adelaide Oval.

As a volunteer, you’ll be able to make a meaningful contribution to the FightMND community. Please note we will accept volunteers on a first in, first served basis. If you would like to volunteer with us, please fill out the form below.   We’d love to see you at our community events.
